Our contour name badges are customized to your exact requirements. The design is created by our experienced graphics team. Based on your corporate identity, they’ll come up with a personalized layout just for you. All you have to do is provide us with your company logo and a list of names in Excel - and we’ll produce a custom design. Engraving is completed by badgepoint® with the utmost precision.

Precision laser engraving means that every timberline® flex wooden name badge is truly unique. From company logos and employee names to intricate design elements – the engraving is completed in line with your own individual requirements. Thanks to the latest laser technology, we can offer a choice of either classic surface engraving (deep engraving) or relief engraving. This technique visually emphasizes the name, creating a 3D effect with a texture you can really feel.
Custom orders – flexible reordering
Available to order in quantities of just 10 or more, our custom-made, uniquely shaped timberline® flex wooden name badges deliver the high quality you’d expect from us. They’re produced within 8 working days after the print has been approved. We offer maximum reordering flexibility from just 5 units (a surcharge is applied for reorders of 1-4 units) – perfect for new team members or speedy turnarounds.
A secure hold – tailored to your requirements
Choose between different fastening options. Our smag® magnet is really popular and comes in standard or extra strong versions – ideal for different fabric thicknesses. Both options are comfortable to wear and provide a firm hold – no slipping or damage to clothing. Alternatively, you can opt for the snap lock pin.
timberline®® name badges made from alder wood
Our timberline® name badges are made from real wood. Differences in the woodgrain, color and engraving depth are natural features of the material. They emphasize the originality and natural character of each and every name badge. The wood may darken slightly over time. This is completely normal for untreated natural products.
Please also be aware that joins may be visible – this is where several pieces of wood are joined together. These may vary in color slightly and are unavoidable due to the nature of the material used.

What exactly is a “contour name badge” made from wood?
A contour name badge is a personalized wooden name badge which hasn’t been produced in a standard shape (e.g. rectangle or oval), but in a shape specified by you – it could be based on your company logo, graphic elements or your own design.
What shape can my wooden name badge be?
The shape has very few restrictions (flexible from 56 x 18 mm up to a maximum of 93 x 52 mm). Modern laser technology makes both simple and complex shapes possible – from curved lines to detailed logo outlines. This enables your uniquely shaped wooden name badges to be perfectly tailored to your corporate identity.
What are the different engraving options?
Our laser-engraved wooden name badges are manufactured to the highest levels of precision. You can even custom-engrave logos, names or symbols in different styles. Choose between relief or deep engraving – both provide a high-quality, durable look with a texture you can really feel.
What details do you need for the design?
We’ll need your logo as a vector graphic in order to produce your own personalized layout (e.g. .ai, .eps or .svg file) and an Excel file with the names of your employees. Our graphics team can then use this information to produce a unique design and submit it to you for sign-off.
Is there a minimum order quantity for wooden contour name badges?
The minimum order quantity for wooden contour name badges is 10 units. The minimum reorder quantity is 5 units – and we also offer reorders of 1 to 4 units for a surcharge. This gives you the flexibility you need to meet short-term demands.
How long do they take to produce and ship?
Once you’ve approved the final layout, production and shipping take around 8 working days. During this time, we’ll produce the badges and carry out a rigorous quality inspection. For faster shipping, opt for the “Express” option when placing your order.
What fastening options are available?
There is a choice of two fastening systems for our personalized wooden name badges: the tried-and-tested smag® magnet (standard or extra strong) or a snap lock pin. Both options provide a firm hold.
What are the special features of wood as a natural material?
Each wooden name badge is unique. Variations in woodgrain, color and engraving depth occur naturally and underline the material’s authenticity. The wood may darken slightly over time. For technical reasons, joins may be visible and vary slightly. These features do not constitute grounds for complaint.
How should I care for my wooden name badge?
You should clean your badge using a dry, soft cloth. Avoid water, chemical cleaning products or mechanical pressure as the natural material is sensitive to moisture and pressure. This will help to maintain the appearance of your engraved wooden name badges and keep them in good condition.
